Here at GXO, Trafford Park, we are currently looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable driver instructor to take the wheel and support our drivers in learning to operate safely and efficiently. If you have HGV instruction and assessment knowledge and experience,don’t keep it to yourself, share it with us

You’ll join us on a full time, permanent basis predominantly Monday - Friday with some Saturday work when necessary.

**What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Deliver above National average test pass rates for new drivers
- Liaise with personnel such as Transport Managers, Transport Planners, and Operations Desk Staff Coordinators as necessary to maximise the benefits of HGV Driving training
- Deliver Class 2 (C) and Class 1 (CE) practical and theoretical driver training to learner drivers
- Monitor the standard of new drivers and offer information, support, and guidance to other departments where applicable

**What you need to succeed at GXO**
- Excellent driving skills and road safety knowledge
- An ability to adapt your teaching style to accommodate each learner
- Large Goods Vehicle (HGV) Driving Licence Category C+E (Held for at least 3 years)
- Large Goods Vehicle Instructor Qualification (NRI or equivalent)
