**Depot Foreman - Construction & Plant Hire**

It has strategically located depots that support a variety of industry customers with ride-on construction equipment. **Role and Responsibilities**:

- Actively promote a positive Health and Safety culture. Monitor and enforce company Health and Safety policies for workshop activities
- Responsible for the line management of all depot personnel to ensure team and business objectives are being carried out timely and effectively
- Manage the day-to-day workshop and yard activities to ensure the depot equipment stock is effectively and efficiently prepared for hire
- Responsible for the planning, prioritising, and scheduling of day-to-day work to ensure business needs are met
- Ensure compliance with company procedures for workshop activities
- Display extensive working knowledge of industry standards and practices, including technical product knowledge
- Use knowledge to train, advise and mentor all team members
- Assist customers when required on technical issues
- Maintain professional relationships with suppliers and organisations associated with the business
- Build and maintains excellent team working within the depot and communicates effectively across the business
- Ensure quality of work is reviewed, updated, and processed by engineering team accurately and in timely manner
- Assist with or performs administrative tasks
- Report on workshop performance
- Act in the commercial interest of the business
- Have good understanding of the hire industry and working with plant and machinery
- Be flexible and adaptable in a constantly evolving and changing environment
- Highly motivated to further their career at an ever-developing company
- Staff management skills

- IOSH
- First Aid
- Working at Height
- CSCS card or skills accreditation scheme
- Forklift operation
- Telehandler
- Safe lifting
- Banksman

**Reports to**: Business Manager

**Location**: Bristol, Avonmouth Depot

**Hours of Work**: 42.5 Hours, Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £28 - £33k but is negotiable depending on experience

**Supplied**: Mobile Phone, Tablet, Uniform, PPE, ongoing support and product training

**To Start**: Immediately where possible
