Education Services provides support to students and staff across the University and Colleges to enable a high quality, student-focussed experience which gives all students the opportunity to make informed choices prior to applying, to succeed in their studies and to equip themselves for life beyond Cambridge.

The main areas of focus include:

- Collaboration and connection between the University's IT and Digital Services Teams and stakeholders within Education Services, the Schools and Colleges to establish new ways of working
- Development of new ways of working, including governance
- Change Management
- Management & Supervision of Staff
- Developing & enhancing IT strategy, policy and operations
- experience of project management and business improvement management in a complex organisation or context
- experience of change management
- experience of higher education administration and of dealing with senior academic and administrative staff
- evidence of working at a strategic or operational level to deliver change
- excellent oral and written communication skills, including strong negotiation and influencing skills
- excellent interpersonal skills and judgement
- excellent analytical and critical reasoning skills
- ability to work in a fast changing and developing environment
- ability to summarise complex problems and suggest solutions concisely and persuasively in a language appropriate to the audience
- ability to identify and pro-actively manage important risk, issues and problems effectively
- ability to promote and facilitate the learning and development of other team members through giving clear direction, guidance and feedback on performance
