We are seeking a part time KP to join our team at Nancy Mulligans
As a team member in our kitchen you need to work well under pressure. Most of the time you will work as part of a team but there will be time that you will work alone. Someone that is adaptable and confident in a kitchen is best suited to this position.
**JOB OVERVIEW**:
The role is a permanent position which includes evenings and weekends shifts.
**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITY**:
- Assist with food preparation & cooking under the supervision of the chef.
- Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchenware.
- Organise and store food supplies and ingredients.
- Removing kitchen waste from waste containers and disposing of them properly.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
- Managing fresh food stock intake and rotation of dates in refrigerator.
- Assist in the completion of all HACCP paperwork, checklists and food management in line with EHO and company guidelines.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to multitask.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Knowledge of basic food preparation and cooking techniques is a plus.
- Understanding restaurant hours of service, with the ability to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- A positive attitude, resilience, and a hands-on approach to work.
