**About East Anglian Air Ambulance**:
East Anglian Air Ambulance is a regional charity that provides life saving care across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and beyond. With two state of the art helicopters and a fleet of rapid response vehicles taking our crew of critical careparamedics and doctors to the scene of the incident, to provide advanced pre hospital emergency medical care (PHEM).

We are immensely proud to have been listed as the number one charity to work for in the 2021 Best Companies list for the national Charity Sector.

The Charity has also been recognised as the 6th Best Company to Work for in the East of England in the 2021 listings and 14th in the Top 100 Mid-Sized Companies to Work For in the UK. In 2020, EAAA was awarded Employer of the Year in the Norfolk and CambridgeBusiness Awards.

East Anglian Air Ambulance not only operates with total patient focus but provides a supportive working environment where everyone can develop and make a difference - Together We Save Lives.

**About Community Training Programme**:
Since 2018 East Anglian Air Ambulance has been delivering lifesaving Community CPR and Defibrillator training sessions to over 10,000+ children and adults, but we need to train more people to save more lives across East Anglia.

Every year approximately 12,000 people suffer a cardiac arrest in the East of England. Only about 40% of those who suffer a cardiac arrest receive any form of bystander CPR before the arrival of the ambulance service and less than 20% have a defibrillatordeployed before emergency services arrive.

The cardiac arrest survival rate in the UK is only around 8%, but if a defibrillator is used alongside effective CPR within the first 3-5 minutes, the chances of survival can increase between 40% - 70%.

With significant funding in place and ambitious targets to train as many people as possible across East Anglia in Basic Lifesaving Skills we are looking for 3 new roles to take this important programme to the next level.

**About the Role**:
You will manage the ongoing development of the community training programmes and be responsible for the development and delivery of EAAA’s flagship Community CPR and Defibrillator Training programme to schools, community groups and organisations across EastAnglia - through an in house, outsourced and volunteer trainer delivered model.

Working collaboratively with the wider charity team and other regional agencies, and organisations to identify need and develop new, innovative and lifesaving community training programmes which could include bleed control or mental health/intentional self-harmprevention.

You will have significant experience of developing first aid training and other training programmes, ideally in a healthcare setting, delivering training courses, leading a brilliant team, working across departments, and managing internal and external relationshipswith key stakeholders.

**Closing date: Monday 07 March (9am)**
**Interview date: Week commencing 14 March**
