**Salary: Day shift - £19,695, Late shift - £23,686.80**

**The Role**

Due to our continued growth, we are now looking for additional **Production Operatives**to join our manufacturing teams based in Hinckley (Nutts Lane and Harrowbrook Industrial Estate).Working full time, 37.5 hours per week, the role will see you working predominately Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work. We have vacancieson our day shift, 08:00 to 16:00, and our late shift, 16:00 to 00:00.

Typically, duties include:

- Working at different work stations within the factory as and when required.For example, when using the Shrink Wrapper, Assembly bench and Packing bench.
- Assembling products using hand held tools and machines.
- Picking stock using hand-held scanner.
- Packaging finished goods safely and securely ready for shipping.
- Marshalling goods into the correct loading bay area.
- Loading cages onto trucks and vans and scanning packaging items and sorting them into the correct location.
- Carrying out basic quality and testing checks on the production line.
- Using lifting equipment such as pump trucks to move product around the factory.
- To work safely at all times following risk assessments and work instructions.
- Production of parts in line with quality standards.
- Work effectively and efficiently to meet Production demands;
- Contribute to our Continuous Improvement approach and actively help to reduce waste in our processes.
- Perform regular housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean and tidy workspace.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations and notifying Team Leader of any type of hazard that post holder is unable to deal with.
- To ensure that all ISO 18001 2007 (Health and Safety) and ISO 9001 2008 (Quality) procedures are followed in full and that all documentation is completed within the required time scale.

**About You**

No prior experience is necessary to join Hammonds as a **Production Operative**, as full training will be provided to the successful applicant.However prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment would be advantageous.
