What you'll bring to the team:
**People Business Partner**

**Location**: THORPE PARK Resort, KT16 8PN

**Hours**: 40 hours per week Mon - Fri, some weekend work

**Contract**:Fixed-Term 6 months

To act as a trusted Business Partner and coach to identified areas of the business in order to drive achievement of the Resort and People Strategy through the management of their teams.

**Key Objectives**:

- Manage and develop the Resort People Advisor and People Administrator
- Partner with key stakeholders and business leaders to build and deliver people plans for defined business area to enable them to operate successful and achieve their objectives.
- Coach and upskill managers in all areas of Employee Relations, Talent and Performance Management.
- Providing expertise regard people issues to reduce risk, reputational and financial exposure.
- Champion and drive key People initiatives driven by Merlin, including but not limited to STAR (company reward and recognition scheme), belonging (diversity, equity and inclusion), culture survey.
- Manage escalated and complex Employee Relations cases using a commercial and pragmatic approach.
- Manage and influence stakeholders internally and externally within a fast faced, challenging environment.
- Managing and Supporting site wide operational changes.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Demonstrable experience as HR Advisor, Generalist or Business Partner
- Demonstrable people management experience
- Good working knowledge of UK employment legislation
- Experience using HR data management systems
- Ability to manage a busy and varied workload
- Hospitality, leisure or tourism background desirable
- CIPD Level 5 or 7 desirable

This role is a full-time role, averaging 40 hours per week. Due to the nature of the business this will include weekends, bank holidays and some late evenings as required.
