**Overview**

**Duties**
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and lorries, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling of products to prevent damage.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any issues encountered during transport.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Assist with heavy lifting as needed during loading and unloading processes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

**Experience**
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Experience with heavy lifting and handling large items safely is essential.
- A valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type being operated is required.
