- Shift: 5 days on / 3 days off (Shifts will vary across days/nights to cover our 24-hour operation)_

**Job Summary**

We have an exciting opportunity available for an Allocator to join the Heathrow Airport Operation team. The dispatchers are an essential part of our business, being responsible for ensuring an effective and efficient operation by allocating resources to specific tasks within defined time frames, in order to meet client specifications.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Assign staff to new jobs through our tracking system and monitor their progress via GPS
- Assist the Operational Managers and Supervisors to ensure adequate staffing levels
- Keep the manager informed of any potential delays or problems
- Ensure all customer requests are met effectively
- Provide detailed reports on accidents and incidents
- Brief staff on relevant operational matters
- Escalate possible service failures, before they happen
- Identify operational challenges and produce a plan to respond
- Ensure a fair and consistent approach to staff when allocating work
