Our client was formed in 1992 as an Air Conditioning specialist and has developed and grown into a £9 Million turnover Mechanical Services Contractor. The company carries out projects from £2K up to £2.5 Million in value throughout the UK and most of thework carried out is designed in-house.

The company are proud to be investors in people and invest in the training and development of staff and associated contractors. Their staff have been with the company for a number of years and positions have been filled with promotions from within the company.They are now an Employee Owned Trust.

The role will be split between head office and the site with the need to attend the site to carry out surveys or attend meetings 2-3 days per week, nationally.

This role is perfect for a talented, energetic, dynamic and proactive Project Engineer with great organisational skills, a good eye for quality and attention to detail.You will be experienced in a mechanical services discipline and will have worked on-sitein a supervisory role, for at least 5 years.

You will want to be part of a growing organisation and will be capable of looking after multiple projects from inception to completion at any one time.

- Plumbing and heating bias or aircon and refrigeration bias would be advantageous
- SMSTS and CSCS card is essential, but training can be provided as necessary
- First Aid at work is desirable

Consideration will be given to people with only some of the above skills, however, this will be reflected in the salary. The company are happy to invest in training for the right person.

**What will your role as a Mechanical Project Engineer look like?**
- Working within a team, responding to requests from Clients to prepare designs and/or quotations from information provided, including site surveys and tendering for works, as necessary
- Assisting with design work on CAD and HEVACOMP or similar thermal load calculation software, as necessary. You will be skilled at producing schematics for working systems
- Assisting with the allocation of manpower with others in your team
- Running and assisting in the running of projects including financial control and day to day organisation of sites
- Preparation and implementation of method statements and risk assessments and monitoring adherence
- Scheduling and ordering of materials
- Ensuring operatives comply with staff procedures with particular attention to vehicles, appearance, PPE, workplace/site, health and safety awareness
- Dealing with technical/fault finding issues and specialist installation queries
- Control of Sub-Contractors including the overseeing of specialist commissioning contractors
- Control of budgets and profit responsibility
- Customer liaison including sales and marketing
- Ensuring compliance with staff procedures with particular adherence to Health and Safety
- Ensuring ISO standards are met in accordance with the role
- Any other duties required to assist the organisation, in agreement with the directors and/or staff
