Are you a passionate Technical Sales Engineer, looking for an exciting new role?

Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to work with one of their well-established and very successful clients based in St Albans working as part of their Sales team.
The Technical Sales Engineer will report to the Engineering Manager. You will support the project management of work through St Albans through the thorough forward planning of projects. You will represent the technical engineering department in internal andexternal meetings and ensure projects are delivered on time, at the right cost, and with the correct documentation.

Principle Responsibilities for the Technical Sales Engineer:

- Produce quotations following customer enquiries, forwarding them on as required in a timely manner
- Assessing customer requirements from documents or by verbal or written communications
- Draw up support documentation for quotations such as system schematics, marking up drawings for cable assembly designs
- Support the sales team by answering technical queries or investigating and solving technical issues
- Processing supplier and customer purchase orders
- Production of CAD drawings
- Production of test procedures

Person specification:

- Qualification in Electrical Engineering.
- Ability to see the larger business picture to identify and diagnose problems and craft solutions.
- Excellent knowledge of manufacturing techniques for the production of bespoke cable assemblies, box builds and harnesses.
- Ability to specify cables and connectors for customer interconnection requirements.
- Wide knowledge of cables, connectors, fibre optics.
- Excellent planning and time-management skills, exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate with customers, suppliers and company staff at all levels.
- Knowledge of testing various types of coaxial, multi-core, fibre optic cables.
- High level of computer literacy.
- Good planning and organisational skills.
- You will be a strong relationship builder and possess the drive, enthusiasm and commercial acumen that gets results.
- The ability to work calmly under pressure.
- High-energy, accountable and forward-looking.
- Be prepared for personal and business growth.

This is a full time permanent Technical Sales Engineer position, Monday - Friday on a 4.5 day week, offering an annual salary of £30,000 plus annual company benefits to include a 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, pension scheme, discount scheme on allcompany products and free car parking.
