**JOB SUMMARY**

This role is primarily to oversee the overall aspect of the renewables team/electrical subcontractors on specific projects. This includes planning and delivery, organising logistics, delegation of work and ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, in budget and in line with contractual obligations.

Creating a positive health and safety culture, your duties will include supervising all construction workers, their tools and materials and making regular safety inspections.

**DAILY RESPONSIBILITY**
- Oversee operational duties on site
- Promote a positive health and safety culture.
- Ensure exceptional quality workmanship which upholds our standards, complies with building regulations, and follow safety requirements.
- Ensure on-site safety through risk management and risk assessment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships and ensure regular communication.
- Manage and develop reporting staff.
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Carry out pre-installation building inspections and technical surveys
- Organise weekly material deliveries and returns

**ESSENTIAL SKILLS**
- Qualified to BS7671 18th edition (amendment 2) and C&G 2391 Testing & Inspection. Solar PV qualified preferable but not essential.
- ECS Gold Card.
- Previous experience in social housing preferred but not essential.
- Be able to work as part of a team.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Good writing and presentation skills.
- Able to use MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to instil and promote a great team mentality with strong communication skills.
- Strong time management skills, allowing switching between a variety of tasks and meeting a combination of daily, weekly and monthly deadlines.
- Must be analytical and problem solving.
- A flexible, self-motivating and agile attitude.
- Attention to detail and accurate record keeping skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, creating a team spirit.
