**A Mechanical Design Engineer with strong 3D CAD skills will get to work in a dynamic environment of motion control; designing test rigs to simulate motion ranging from earthquakes through to durability of vehicle suspension systems and survivabilityforces on suspension bridge structures.**

Working closely with Control, Hardware and Systems Engineers, the successful Mechanical Design Engineer will use their 3D CAD skills as well as their experience of FEA to design and produce manufacturing drawings of mechanisms incorporating precision components,hydraulics / pneumatic systems.

**Applications are sought from Mechanical Engineers with the following**:

- A minimum of an HNC in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2+ years industrial design experience (sorry no recent graduates).
- SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD package.
- Knowledge of hydraulic / pneumatic systems including actuators.
- FEA Stress Analysis.
- Designing precision components and mechanisms.
- A passion for Engineering.

It would be great to see someone with mechanical design experience in an industry such as farming machinery, lifting equipment, pneumatics.
