**Job Details**

This job involves working on a peripatetic basis across an area of Fife to support our out of school clubs where they require additional support, to cover annual leave and other absences.

We support families by providing a safe and fun environment for children and young people while their parents/carers attend work, training, or further education. Our clubs offer a wide range of play-based activities that keep the children engaged and happy.

**What You’ll Do**

**Plan and Supervise Activities** : Work with other likeminded individuals to plan, create and inspire the children to engage in a wide range of activities and experiences.

**Set Up Play Spaces** : Create magical, inviting play areas to allow the children to be creative and capture their imagination and interests.

**Encourage Independence** : Support children to explore their interests, confidence, self-esteem and life-long skills.

**Provide Nutritious Snacks** : Support children to make healthy snacks that cater to dietary and nutritional needs.

**Handle Accidents/Incidents** : Be the hero in emergencies with your quick response.

**Assist with Record Keeping** : Support the Senior Childcare Practitioner to ensure everything is organised and running smoothly.

**The Person**

If you are someone who:
- Is fun, engaging, adaptable, enthusiastic about working with children and young people.- Has experience of working with children and young people within a play, care or learning setting.- Is willing to work towards the SVQ 3 Social Services (Children and Young People) or already holds a suitable qualification.
