Warehouse Worker

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently.
- Manage materials handling, including loading and unloading goods from lorries.
- Utilise a warehouse management system to track inventory levels and locations.
- Participate in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely dispatch of orders.
- Engage in picking and packing activities to prepare products for shipment.
- Maintain an organised stock area, ensuring items are stored correctly and efficiently.
- Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to improve warehouse processes and efficiency.

**Skills**
- Proven experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Familiarity with materials handling techniques and equipment, including forklifts.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems for effective inventory tracking.
- Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures.
- Competence in picking & packing methodologies to ensure accuracy in order fulfilment.
- Ability to stock shelves effectively while maintaining an organised workspace.
- Mechanical knowledge for basic troubleshooting of warehouse equipment is beneficial.
- Excellent attention to detail for quality control tasks.
