As an **HR Administrator**, you will collaborate closely with our HR Coordinator, primarily involved in supporting new starter paperwork, facilitating contract collation, obtaining references, and maintaining positive relationships throughout the onboarding process. Additionally, you will contribute to various project work within the HR domain.

This is a **part time position** and would be ideal for someone who is looking for **25 hours** a week. Working Monday to Friday you will ideally cover core hours across 9am-3pm but we are open to discussions around what may work best for individuals and the business.

As we have two sites in York, you will have the ability to work primarily from the Holgate HQ location but must also be available to support the Clifton Moor site when required, particularly during peak seasonal busy periods.

**Your daily tasks will include**
- Assisting with the onboarding of new starters, ensuring timely processing of documentation, and providing a warm welcome and induction on their first day.
- Maintaining continuous records of proof of right to work in the UK in accordance with prevailing legislation.
- Managing HR trackers to ensure dependable data availability for the HR & Recruitment team.
- Upholding the data integrity of HR systems and employee records across multiple platforms.
- Generating management reports regularly, encompassing Board Report figures, monthly salary changes, and other ad hoc spreadsheet reporting requirements.
- Providing administrative support for April APR time, including mail merge responsibilities.
- Acquiring references and signed contracts for new starters, ensuring swift turnaround, particularly during seasonal recruitment.
- Cultivating relationships with new starters and stakeholders, embodying Gear4music's values as an ambassador.
- Maintaining regular communication with the HR Coordinator to ensure timely completion of all HR tasks.
- Offering additional seasonal support for high volume inductions at the Clifton Moor site during September-December (note: restricted holidays during this period).
- Assisting with general HR and recruitment administration as required.

**You will**
- Have experience in an office-based environment handling confidential information.
- Preferably previous experience in HR or recruitment admin roles.
- Proficiency in data input and analysis, including advanced spreadsheet skills, meticulous attention to detail, and accuracy in data integrity checks.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workloads and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
- Professionalism and comfort in working under pressure.
- Ability to work independently, managing time effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all organizational levels.
- Flexibility and a positive attitude toward work.
- Interest in working within an HR environment and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
