You will manage a portfolio of projects, initially focusing on managing an innovative transformation programme that aims to ensure the right children are in care at the right time. If you’re someone with:

- Strong communication and influencing skills,
- The ability to use your initiative and creative thinking to deliver results,
- The ability to work both independently and effectively as part of a team.

In return, we will give you ongoing support and development, a varied and stimulating range of work that contributes to delivering Hertforshire's Plan for Children and Young People and the opportunity to work with both senior managers and front line staff.You will also become a part of a friendly and highly regarded improvement team who are committed to continuously improving Children’s Services in Hertfordshire.

**Working arrangements**:these are flexible. Our team members typically work remotely, with occasional travel to HCC offices for key meetings. We will consider both part-time and full-time working.
