Leading growth of the regional portfolio through strategic new business wins, you'll join a major international insurer in the role of Development Underwriter for the Leeds market - providing you with the opportunity to increase your own market profile,and use your commercial trading skills to further your career.

As Development Underwriter, you will:

- Drive mid-market and corporate new business from a panel of national and large regional brokers. Average premium here is c£50,000, with an aim to push higher.
- Work with your broker panel (and clients in tripartite fashion) at strategic level to win sophisticated business, not simply driven by price.
- Act as the market face for the Leeds team, encouraged to hold regular broker meetings and to attend insurance market functions and events.
- Enjoy working with a number specialist and niche lines, with full training provided.
- Be well rewarded with a base salary of upto c£60,000, plus bonus and strong package.

You
- A trader and a development underwriter with strong commercial skills, looking for a high profile role with plenty of broker interaction.
- You'll thrive on winning new business and enjoy the glory and rewards that come with delivering the big deals.
- You'll be ready to take on this senior role, responsible for developing the Leeds insurance market.
