We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bar Supervisor to join our vibrant team at Rolands Harrogate. As a Bar Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests while crafting a variety of drinks and cocktails.Your role will be to work with the GM and AGM to ensure that every patron enjoys a memorable experience, using your expertise in bartending, coupled with your passion for hospitality. **Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Take responsibility for the running and safety of the business when the GM and AGM are not present
- Contribute to upcoming cocktail and wine menus, working with the AGM and GM to create amazing drink menus that regularly change
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Use your experience to help other team members improve whilst sticking to the Palagander way
- Manage inventory by restocking supplies and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while adhering to basic maths skills for tabulation.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and valued, overseeing other members of staff.
- Assist the GM and AGM with customer enquiries, bookings and private hires.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a Head Bartender or Supervisor in a restaurant or hospitality setting or someone looking to make their next step in their career.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic maths skills for managing tabs and processing payments accurately.
- A friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills to engage effectively with customers.
- Ability to handle complaints and issues when management are not present
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for bartending and creating unique drink experiences for patrons.

Pay: £13.30 per hour
