Electrical Assembly Operative (Wirer)

Clevedon, Somerset

Late Shift up to £14.74 PAYE, Monday to Friday 14:00 to 22:00

Electrical Assembly operative (Wirer) sought within a highly successful division of an international manufacturer producing specialist equipment for the Semiconductor and electronic industries.

The role will be suited to electrical based production operatives with wiring and cable assembly experience from any manufacturing or equipment assembly environment.

You will join a large production team within a shift-based production cell, the role will involve the electrical sub assembly phases of specialist safety equipment used in manufacturing environments globally. You will have the assistance of a cell supervisor and comprehensive on the job training in the initial stages. This is a productivity-based role with a focus on high quality and low non-conformance in sub-assemblies.

The company has been trading for many decades in Somerset and as part of a global group of engineering brands has huge investment and further expansion to the manufacturing facility is planned to enable further growth to local employment and long-term job security for all employees, progression to higher skilled roles will be made available with training if desired.

The Person:

- Experienced Production Operative with wiring/cable assembly experience
- Can come from ANY engineering or production background

The role:

- Sub assembly-based role, wiring and cable assemblies.
- Work to electrical drawings/schematics to create sub-assemblies to meet production KPI and quality standards

**Salary**: £11.79-£14.74 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
