**Business Architect - £96,000 - Hybrid**

A leading financial services corporation is currently recruiting a Business Architect to lead the business architect function and define the implementation strategy, working practices and processes for the team as our client embarks on a cloud modernisationprogramme. The Business Architect must have strong capabilities strategy, transformation, change management and the ability to lead a team of architects reporting into Head of Programmes and Planning. This is a permanent contract paying up to £96,000 (including6k car allowance per annum) + 25% bonus + hybrid working to be based in Chatham.
The role requires the contribution to and continued evaluation of the Business Architecture framework ensuring partnership in the annual planning process providing visibility to impacts, dependencies, overlaps and opportunities with an overall alignment withthe group's strategy, goals and objectives. At project and programme level, oversee the initial stages of business initiation to help the business shape their requests for change into a High Level Requirements, design and solution that meets the customer needsand provides the group with a clear deliverable solution.
The role will be required to act as an architect in their own right and lead by example in the delivery of the business architecture practice
**Role overview/responsibilities**:

- Manage and lead the Business Architecture team on a day-to-day basis, setting clear objectives and goals
- Responsible for the quality, development, growth and performance of the Business Architecture capability
- Ownership for the Business Architecture framework and contribution to the continued establishment of it
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and the wider business functions including technical architecture and IT delivery teams to effectively progress the delivery plan ensuring achievement of the business outcomes
- Identify and document potential issues and risks with implementation to ensure that as far as possible these are understood and mitigated
- Ensure the framework enables the business structure requests for change, designs and solutions that deliver value and business outcome in the most efficient manner
- Ownership and documentation of the High Level Requirements process
- Identify and document potential issues and risks with a change to ensure that as far as possible these are understood and accepted by the business prior to delivery.
- Develop, drive and continuously improve the Business Architect function, process and artefacts leading change and innovation.
- Develop appropriate documentation to outline the business High Level Requirements, design and solution quickly and effectively.
- Support the establishment and continued alignment of the group's strategy and overall delivery roadmap
**Essential skill set**:

- Strong experience Senior Business Architecture role with experience implementing an architecture framework within a financial services environment
- Previous experience Managing multiple concurrent change & project requirements, delivering high quality and timely analysis services in the excess of 100m+
- Proven track record and experience of other Business Architecture areas including business and technology strategies, operating models, process models and business and technology models
- Previous Experience of Experience of working closely with development, test, data infrastructure, cloud and business teams
- Previous Experience of Structured approach to Application of appropriate processes, plans and governance through a standards based approach
- PRINCE II, Agile Architmate or equivalent industry recognised project management certification
- BCS Architecture Certification or equivalent industry recognised Business Architecture qualification
**Salary expectations**:
