As such, we are fortunate enough to be training some of the country’s most talentedtrainee carers. As a result of continued expansion in the area and a leadership team restructure, we are now recruiting to this position. We are now seeking to appoint a highly capable individual with excellent influencing skills who can assist in the managementof a team of Training Consultants, resources and processes needed for outstanding delivery.

**What you will do?**

As a dynamic leader of people, with experience of managing teams, you will support and deputise for the Care Apprenticeship Manager and be responsible for line management of Training Consultants, who are working within the Health & Social Care and Healthcaresectors across the country to ensure successful completion of Care qualifications up to level 5. Having a keen eye for detail will mean that you will be able to articulate information clearly, concisely and accurately in a way that engages, convinces and influencesothers.

As a successful Assistant Apprenticeship Manager, you will also have experience of raising standards and improving team performance by setting measurable key performance indicators. You will have the experience that will allow you to monitor and improvequality and compliance across the department, as well as being the main point of contact for awarding bodies. The successful applicant will be commercially driven, with a strong business acumen and a high level of personal integrity. Being educated to DegreeLevel is also essential.

This is a permanent, full-time post. The role is predominantly home based, with some national travel and occasional travel to our College campus in Consett, County Durham required; therefore use of your own transport, a current valid driving license andbusiness insurance is essential.

All staff are expected to share this commitment. The person appointed willbe required to obtain a satisfactory DBS Enhanced Disclosure.
