**The Role**

Reporting to the Head of Financial Accounting and managing a large team, you will be responsible for all financial transactions and controls within the organisation. Having gone through a large transformation and systems upgrade, you will be responsiblefor developing all processes, policies and controls across the financial services function including accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, payroll, banking and treasury. Significantly, you will manage and motivate a high performing team byestablishing effective metrics and delivery KPI's. Furthermore, you will work with various commercial and operational teams to ensure that all system interfaces are fully optimised with finance, ensuring the delivery of a quality and seamless finance servicefor all.
- Accountant with relevant qualification and/or demonstrable professional experience in a similar post.
- Strong background leading financial transactions departments in a mid-sized organisation, including AP, AR, CC, Banking and Payroll.
- Ability to drive change, improve systems, and establish new process across a range of stakeholder groups.
- Proven leader, manager and people person, with the ability to inspire teams.
- High level of customer awareness and project management capabilities.
- Prior experience and/or an empathy for the Not-For-Profit sector. Experience of Sage X3 desirable.
