Operating in over 100 theme parks across 25 countries, we are recruiting for a Procurement Strategy Manager to be an integral part of the Purchasing department which will support the company’s continued growth. This is a newly created role reporting to the Head of Global Purchasing to assist with the sourcing, innovation, delivery and management of stock in an efficient manner across the global business.

Job Responsibilities:
Future planning of all container shipping and road freight management.
Bonded warehouse support which is an integral part of the day to day operations and processing.
Helping to project manage current and future system implementation (ie. Sage).
Source stock items for the Arcade and Games functions.
Negotiate prices with suppliers and freight forwarders.
Negotiate of payment terms and rebates.
Manage relationships with current suppliers.
Identify new stock suppliers and freight forwarders.
Re-forecast, planning and phase of stocks across the business.
Manage current stock quantities, timings and deliveries.
Integral part of all weekly, monthly and annual stock orders across the business.
Product innovation of key prize lines across the Arcade and Games functions.
Be apart of the day to day management of 8 team members.
Oversee all equipment and consumable orders.
Be responsible for approving all invoices that come through the Purchasing department.
Be responsible for the management of all EN71 test reporting and EU conformity documents.
Be responsible for the management of ethical factory auditing.
Be the main point of contact for sites regarding all stock, equipment and logistics queries.
To be involved with Purchasing presentations within the company.
Order to managing budgets.
Assist with the company Environmental Sustainability project management.

Person Specification:
Hold a GCSE or equivalent in English & Maths grade level C or above.
Be a strong decision maker and hold good problem solving skills.
Have strong written and verbal skills.
Have the ability to prioritise a busy work load.
Be self-motivated and able to take initiative when needed.
Have the ability to communicate well.
Be self-directed with a high degree of self motivation.
Have high attention to detail.
Hold a background in Purchasing (essential).
Have experience of working within a similar role/same role (essential).
