We are looking for HealthCare assistants to join our Nursing home based in Birkenhead, CH62, Wirral.

This Home is a sixty-two bed care facility that takes on requirements for respite and nursing care, as well as welcoming dementia residents.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time, hours: 33- 44 per week

**Salary**: £11.44 per hour depending on experience.

Responsabilities include:

- Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting and assisting Residents when required with all aspects of daily living
- Assist Residents in all aspects of their care needs, e.g. physical, emotional and spiritual
- Provide supervision and attention when needed, ensuring Residents retain their comfort and dignity
- Observe care planning needs for Residents and completed daily records as instructed
- Assist in framework of social activities by interacting with Residents and helping them continue with hobbies and activities in the Care Centre
- Answer Nurse Call system, giving assistance as required
- Answer the door and telephone appropriately
- Respond accordingly, and pass on messages promptly
- Report on well-being of Residents
- Clean and maintain equipment used by Residents and Relatives e.g. wheelchairs, hearing aids, spectacles etcRequirements for the role
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Team player
- Ability to work on own initiative
