Part-time Marketing Assistant

Third Circle Recordings (TCR) are looking for a creative and innovative Social Media and Marketing Assistant to join their small team in West Hove. If you are interested in gaining experience working within Music Business and Music Marketing this role could be perfect for you.
**Job Title: Freelance Marketing Assistant**
Reports to: Studio Manager / Marketing Manager
£300 pm
**Scope of the post**:
Work closely with the studio manager and marketing manager to create engaging content for Third Circle Recordings, enhancing the business’s social media presence. This includes, but is not limited to; keeping social media channels updated, seeking out new social media avenues and developing ways of connecting with audiences. Your hours can be flexible but you will be expected to work a minimum of 6 hours per week.
**Main responsibilities**:
**Social Media**
- Oversee TCR social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Bandcamp and LinkedIn. This will also include creating a monthly Spotify playlist of local talent to share.
- Build TCR social media presence on existing and emerging social media platforms
- Create dynamic written, static, graphic and video content using a range of tools
- Create content that promotes audience interaction and drives traffic to TCR website.
- Propose new ideas and concepts for social media content
- Schedule content to create a consistent stream of new content for audience interaction
- Analyse engagement of TCR social media channels
**Marketing & Communications**
- Assist in writing e-newsletters and distributing to subscribers
- Support the studio manager and marketing manager with planning, implementing and monitoring marketing campaigns
- Assist with the production of marketing materials and collateral
- Help organise networking opportunities with record labels, bands, venues etc
- Provide administrative and project support for a variety of marketing activities
**Other**:
- Occasionally attend and document recording sessions or other TCR events in order to generate content for social media and marketing campaigns.
**Essential criteria**
- **Must **exhibit extremely high attention to detail. This particularly includes spelling, grammar and writing skills.
- Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office and Google Suite (e.g. Google Docs/Google
Sheets etc).
- Must have experience generating content for social media and be highly proficient in using a range of social media channels and tools.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work within deadlines
- Able to manage competing priorities
**Desired criteria**
- Proficiency in using Adobe Premier Pro
- Proficiency in using Adobe Photoshop
- Proficiency in using Canva
- Proficiency in photography and video recording
