The **Value Stream Leader **for Cytiva is responsible for leading a team of production Associates to maximize the medium and long-term profitability of an assigned Value Stream through the efficient and effective leadership of Supervision and co-ordination of Engineering and Supply Chain activities.

This position is part of production located within Walton Road and will be based on-site. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

**What you will do**:

- Lead and direct the team to ensure Value Stream KPI’s are achieved in accordance with annual targets utilising DBS (Danaher Business System) tools where performance is below target.
- Provide leadership and technical expertise to the Value Stream in the implementation of relevant Production Systems, improvements and production requirements.
- To act as an agent for change in driving continuous improvements in line with the DBS strategy
- Implement a structure and policies which enable the Value Stream to comply with all legal requirements including Human Relations, Health & Safety and Environmental policies.
- Ensure the Value Stream has the right skill level, flexibility and succession planning required.
- To act as Coach & Mentor within the value stream and carry out annual performance appraisals with reporting team members, holding regular mid-term reviews.

**Who you are**:

- Experience of Leadership in a Manufacturing facility, with significant people management responsibility and knowledge of GMP in a Biotech environment.
- Experienced in operational strategy and project management
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels - both written & verbal
- Manage multiple forms of information for effective decision making / problem solving
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Competent in use of relevant computer systems including Lotus Notes, SAP and Microsoft office

**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:

- Preferable = ILM Level 4/5 Management
- Preferable experience in Lean and Six Sigma tools and techniques to drive improvement
