A classic field service engineering role covering the whole of Italy but based near **Milan** working for a company offering high quality after market / service support working on packaging machinery used in the food industry. A really good job with a great company.
**BASIC SALARY**: €50,000 to €55,000

**JOB DESCRIPTION**: Service Engineer, Field Service Engineer - packaging machinery / PPMA
A classic Field Service Engineer role working with packaging machinery on client sites within the food industry split 80% repair & service of existing machinery and 20% install & commission of new machinery spending 1 to 2 nights per week staying away fromhome on average with very occasional weekend work required.
You will be expected to work from the office 1 day per week so will live with 1 hour / 50km of Milan.
**PERSON SPECIFICATION**: Service Engineer, Field Service Engineer - packaging machinery / PPMA
- You **MUST** have a proven track record as a Field Service Engineer with hands on experience of packaging machinery used in the food industry
- The company will also consider experienced factory Maintenance Engineers working in the food industry with hands on experience of packaging machinery who want to move into a field service engineer role
- You will be capable of fault finding on PLC's and will be a qualified Electrical / Electronic Engineer with some Mechanical aptitude
- You **WILL** be fluent in Italian and speak good English
