**EDF have an exciting new opportunity for a Scheduler where you’ll be working within the EBS M&S Scheduling Team. Ideally if you have any knowledge or experience about Scheduling in Scotland area then please state this in your cover letter.**

**The opportunity**

To be a great scheduler in the EBS M&S Scheduling Team you need to be organised with a good sense of co-ordination and problem-solving skills.

As well as organising your own work you will be responsible for organising and co-ordinating the work for our dedicated field team as well as for third parties specifically in and around Scotland.

This role will encompass a range of hybrid scheduling activity and associated triage as well as the organisation and prioritisation of work to ensure that the work that is scheduled out is completed in a timely and accurate manner.

With the Scottish terrain and transport infrastructure, specific care and attention to detail will be required with an expert understanding and experience of scheduling in Scotland to produce optimal schedules that are as geographically dense as possible, and to ensure that priority work is fulfilled in timescales that meet both customer and industry requirements.

This will involve triaging, scheduling and booking appointments using our Jobwatch System, and issuing high quality job instructions to ensure mínimal job aborts and a first-class customer experience. We will also require a can-do positive attitude and also to help upskill and train other members of the existing team on the complexities of scheduling specifically for Scotland, and to assist with creating bespoke scheduling work instructions for scheduling in Scotland.

There will be requirements to produce and analyse reports, ensure timely and accurate completion of data and information enabling accurate billing to be produced and completed within agreed timeframes, liaising with the relevant field managers on the quality and accuracy of data and information being both sent to and returned by their teams, resolving queries as and when required and helping to book suitable travel and accommodation for the field team as and when required.

**What we’re looking for**
- Organising and scheduling work in a geographically optimal way for highly technical field operatives
- Adaptable, with experience of multi-tasking and working at own initiative to deliver tasks on time
- Experience of developing and maintaining a network of contacts within own peer group
- Experience of scheduling in Scotland specifically
- Understanding of Scotland travel infrastructure and terrain
- Experience training and coaching others
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships
