A Smart Repairer will carry out small to medium repairs to vehicles and minimize dents on vehicle body panels using smart repair techniques without the need of repainting body panels. The Smart Repairer will also and also carry out alloy wheel refurbishment.

**Duties/Responsibilities**
- Prep and mask up vehicles.
- Sandblast, prep and mask up alloy wheels.
- Strip small parts from vehicles when required.
- Minimise dents using smart repair techniques and equipment.
- Localise paint work to panels and alloys
- Mask up and primer repaired and new panels when required.
- Reseal panels when required.
- Check, plus flat & polish including non-painted vehicles when required.
- Clean Ovens and change filters when required.
- Collect new parts and distribute to the right vehicles when required.
- Take & collect vehicles from other departments when required.
- Colour checking and mixing paint.
- Carry out quality checks and repainting vehicles.
- Jet washing vehicles after final checks before they leave the Paint Shop.
- Ensure all work is carried out within health & safety guidelines.
- Undertaking any other ad hoc tasks as requested by management and senior staff

**Health & Safety Responsibilities**

- Reporting any potential issues which could cause harm.
- Behave in a manner which acts in line with the standards set out in the Health and Safety Manual and Company Handbook.

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**

**Essential**
- NVQ level 3 in motor repairs or equivalent
- Valid and full driving licence
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivation
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Positive attitude
