Our client, a leading Oil and Gas supplier company based in Great Yarmouth are currently seeking an Maintenance / Site Technician to join their busy team for an immediate start.
- Are you Forklift and Access Platform trained?
- Do you have IOSH or other relevant HSSEQ qualification?

This is a full-time permanent role working Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00 with overtime available at an enhanced rate.
As the Site Technician you will be a committed and motivated individual who will be responsible for completing semi-skilled operations, planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance, repairs and cleaning sites working in compliance with statutoryand legal undertakings.

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Conduct all planned maintenance activities (in line with the compliance database) and reactive maintenance activities, updating records as required.
- Liaise with the department’s Helpdesk and line manager to identify and plan schedule of works, updating records, as required.
- Carry out repairs, maintenance and cleaning of all property and grounds. Including but not limited to roofs, walkways, minor service and maintenance on drains, indoor/outdoor plumbing.
- Modify furniture and fittings and move furniture, equipment and stores.
- Maintain clean and safe working environment within all operating areas, ensuring high standards throughout.
- Conduct weekly fire alarm tests across Company's sites.
- Safely use and maintain a range of manual and electric tools and machinery.
- Liaise with, support and, where necessary, supervise internal and external personnel to ensure work tasks are always conducted in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Plan and organise deliveries/shipments of materials to ensure deadlines are met.
- Confirm materials correspond with paperwork, working with the Helpdesk to investigate discrepancies.
- Ensuring the continuous adherence to, and improvement of, safety and environmental, participating in the continuous improvement of customer service, processes, and cost effectiveness.
- Present a positive image of the company through first class service delivery and customer engagement.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers, colleagues and vendors.
- Proactively assisting colleagues and undertaking adhoc duties, as required.

**Minimum Competencies (Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours)**
- A proven track record within a maintenance environment.
- Customer focused and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships, both internal and external.
- Accustomed to working effectively in a fast-paced environment, flexible and can adapt to changing workloads and priorities, where high standards are not compromised under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and in writing.
- Ability to work stand-alone, demonstrating initiative and ownership, while a positive contributor to the wider team.
- Motivated to achieve the highest standards of performance and customer support, maintaining a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
