Swann Edwards Architecture Limited is a young fast-growing practice in its 11th year of trading. We pride ourselves as being a successful RIBA and CIAT registered Architectural Design practice with a varied and exciting portfolio across a wide range of sectors including domestic extensions, bespoke dwellings, residential developments, health care, commercial, industrial, educational, community and passivhaus projects.

Through internal promotion, a fantastic opportunity has arisen, with an immediate start for the right person, to fill the roll of Administrative Assistant becoming part of the team supporting along the Officer Manager.
Working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, the successful applicant will:
- Be the first point of contact for client enquiries
- Develop and distribute client forms and correspondence
- Organise meetings and prepare minutes
- Provide regular contributions to the review of administration processes
- Manage record-keeping and related activities using Xero
- Log and maintain the practice client database ensuring compliance with data protection legislation
- Assist in the organisation and implementation of practice events as directed by the Office Manager
You will need:
- Excellent administrative skills and experience including letter writing
- Excellent use of written English grammar
- Demonstrated experience in a busy customer facing environment
- Ability to understand and interpret procedures and policies
- Ability to travel to the local bank and post office etc having drivers licence and own transport
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Ability to effectively time manage and prioritise multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and customer service skills towards staff and clients
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Professional attitude and presentation
