**Day to day duties and responsibilities for the Machine Operative role.**
- Responsible for operating either a primary or secondary stage machine based on individuals skill set to ensure all scheduled jobs for a given day are completed to meet customer demands.
- Efficient set times of machines
- Operating throughput of product through machine
- Eliminate all causes of downtime to the best of your ability throughout run time
- Stack finished products neatly on a pallet ready for secondary machines/despatch
- Carry out quality checks and frequency checks throughout run time
- Maintain a clean tidy working area adhering to all H&S legislations (5s compliant)
- Once a competent operative status is achieved, you will be responsible training new starters on machines

**What you'll need to succeed in our Machine Operative role**
- Have the ability to carry out basic TPM (total productive maintenance) activities
- A flexible ‘can-do’ attitude is a pre-requisite
- 1 years experience operating machines (minimum)
- Basic numeracy/arithmetic skills
