We are seeking a **Cover Supervisor** to join a thriving secondary school in Shrewsbury on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and organized individual to play a vital role in the daily running of the school.
**Role Overview**:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise pupils while they complete pre-prepared exercises during the short-term absence of teaching staff. Your main responsibility will be to manage the classroom, ensuring students stay on task and maintain a focused and productive atmosphere.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Supervising classes in the absence of the teacher and delivering pre-prepared work.
- Managing classroom behavior in line with the school’s policies.
- Ensuring all students are engaged and on task with the set work.
- Providing support and guidance to students where needed.
**What We’re Looking For**:
- Suitably trained or experienced individuals with the confidence to manage a classroom.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- A fully enhanced DBS check (on the update service or dated within the last 12 months).
