We are seeking a Junior Finance Assistant with strong Excel knowledge to join our team, previous healthcare experience is not mandatory. Graduates welcome to apply.

**The** **Role**:
**Main** **Duties** **&** Responsibilities**:
**Core** **functions,** **but** **not** **limited** **to**:

- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, reconciling bank, and maintaining general ledgers. Maintain debtors / creditors/ journals.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial documents accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the wider team to gather financial data and provide support in preparing & setting financial reports and budgets.
- Utilise Excel extensively to organise and analyse financial data, create reports, and present findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Working with data such as PCSE, DES / LES,
- Work closely in assisting with financial planning, budgeting, and monitoring of expenses.
- Preparing and submitting payroll & pensions for your entity. NHS pensions knowledge / experience is a bonus. Monthly reconciliation & submissions required.
- Show initiative to propose improvements to finance activities, processes, and procedures.

**Personal** **Specification**:
**Essential**:

- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, and data
- Experience using Xero.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and record keeping.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Meeting deadline requirements, independently and as a team.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and present financial information clearly to relevant stakeholders. **Desirable**:

- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in bookkeeping or a similar role.
