**Salary**: Starting from £16,500 to £22,000 with the view for Salary to be increased once fully trained and demonstrating ability to perform duties required.

Hours: Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm

e-Hardware is a friendly, family run Online Architectural Ironmongery business based in Great Tey near Colchester, Essex.

Due to growth, an opportunity has arisen for an e-Commerce Product Assistant to join our e-commerce team.

**The role and responsibilities are as follows: -**

Responsible for maintaining on-site product journey’s, by assisting and working alongside the e-commerce product team to update, import product information on management software and various e-commerce platforms such as the website, eBay and Amazon.
- Input product information such as product title, price, barcode onto excel spread sheets ensuring accuracy and attention to detail by verifying and checking for accuracy.
- Using excel spreadsheets to upload product information to management software, checking imports have completed correctly.
- Edit product photographs using photoshop or affinity software (training given however some experience would be preferred).
- Work closely with suppliers to source product information (details, prices, images) to ensure product information added to the system is accurate and up-to -date.
- Research product information to ensure you’re able to write inviting product descriptions tailored to the DIY market.
- Enter product details onto various e-commerce platforms ensuring they are described in an accurate, clear and concise manner whilst ensuring all sections are completed before product goes live.
- Audit and quality check your work to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Developing on to being able to create new categories and content, updating headers, header links, SEO URLs, breadcrumbs, meta data and various other e-commerce jobs.

- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle requests form all directions with an idea of how to manage workload efficiently
- Knowledge of Excel and Word
- Photo editing skills (not essential but preferred)
- The ability to write and proof-read copy
- Basic understanding of e-commerce, HTML or experience with Amazon/eBay listings is desirable but not essential
- Experience of e-commerce trading/online marketing is desirable but not essential

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £16,500.00-£22,000.00 per year
