**About us**

Full Fat Commerce is seeking a Junior UI UX Designer to join our growing creative team and work alongside our Senior UI UX Designer, our Client Services team, and our Developers.

We are a small agency but growing agency so we are looking for somebody who thrives in that environment. You don’t necessarily need to have web design experience, but you must be enthusiastic and up for a challenge. We understand that everyone starts somewhere so as long as you have a clear passion for web design and a willingness to learn, you could find your next role with us. We are also looking for a portfolio that shows off your best design skills whether that’s through web design case studies, editorial pieces or university projects that you can discuss and show us the processes behind the design.

This role is entry level and therefore we will provide training and support throughout the whole process to help guide you into the web design environment and clear progression for those who thrive from challenges.

**Please note this role is a hybrid approach and you will be required to work within our Birmingham city centre office, with the remaining days remote working.**

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Designing a range of D2C ecommerce websites for a variety of our clients in Fashion, Lifestyle and Food & Beverages
- Creating Wireframes
- Producing high quality designs (Desktop & Mobile) with prototyping elements
- Being introduced to clients in workshops and kick off calls
- Using Hotjar and Google Analytics to review data to help inform design decisions
- Identify and troubleshoot UI / UX issues on retainer clients
- Working with the Senior Designer to provide support where needed

**Requirements**:

- An exciting portfolio of case studies - we’re looking for quality over quantity
- Comfortable working alongside other team members or working on your own
- Strong communication skills
- Confidence to be able to attend client meetings
- Good time management skills
- Able to commute to our office 1-2 days a week.

**Desirable Skills**:

- An understanding of e-commerce requirements on websites
- Knowledge of some UI and UX skills
- Knowledge of Figma (Sketch or Adobe XD are acceptable too)
- Collaborative, but also able to be creative and self-driven

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
