Spanish Freelance Interpreter

DA Languages is looking for speakers of Spanish to join our network of freelance remote interpreters.

We are looking for bilingual speakers with the confidence to accurately interpret for our clients and their non-English speaking service users.

DA Languages provide interpreters for a wide range of UK-based public and private sector clients, from hospitals and councils to law firms and marketing agencies.

What will you be doing?

As a telephone interpreter, you will join conference calls with our clients and their service users. These calls will be held using our bespoke telephone interpreting app, either on demand or through pre-booked appointments. As a video remote interpreter, you will join video calls with our clients and their service users, using platforms such as Microsoft teams, Skype, Zoom and many more.

Having one of the below qualifications is preferred, but not essential:

- Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI)
- Community Interpreting
- National Registered (NRPSI)
- Chartered Institute of Linguists Qualifications (CIOL)
- Certificate in Bilingual Skills (CBS)
- BA in Translation or Interpreting
- BA in Languages, Linguistics, or any related discipline
- Right to Work in the UK
- Approx. 100 hours interpreting experience *References will be requested

Qualification to GCSE level or above achieved in England

IELTS score of 7 or above

CEFR C1 qualification or above

Completion of an online English test by DA Languages* This will be booked during your registration if required
