**About the Team**:
This rewarding role will sit within Warwickshire Children and Families Practice and Learning Hub who work with practitioners and multi-agency partners to deliver a wide range of practice and learning support opportunities. **The Education Safeguarding Trainer** will deliver safeguarding training to schools, colleges, and Early Years settings. The team are based in Shire Hall in Warwick, but regularly work across the County delivering in different local authority and community venues and within schools.

The post will link with internal colleagues and external partners to ensure there is a strong link back into the Practice and Learning Hub to offer an effective joined up service.

**About the Role**:
We are recruiting for the role of **Education Safeguarding Trainer**in our Practice and Learning Hub County Wide in Warwickshire, on a **full time, permanent basis**. The purpose of the role is to:

- Co-ordinate and review the training offer with key partners on an annual basis, keeping up to date with legislation and best practice.
- Create and develop training materials to support education practitioners in line with legislation and guidance including Families First, The Children Act, Working Together Guidance, Keeping Children Safe in Education.
- Delivery of core training which will include Child Protection, Designated Safeguarding Training, Safer Recruitment, Domestic Abuse and any other relevant training and support agreed with education and Practice and Learning Hub.
- Deliver training flexibly using online and face-to-face methods to practitioners from educational settings, including teachers, teaching assistants and governors, and partners of Warwickshire County Council where necessary.
- Model and develop the Warwickshire Relational Practice Framework adopting a coaching approach to grow partnerships and achieve best outcomes for children and families.


**Key Requirements**The role will require:

- Regular travel between locations to deliver to a variety of audiences
- Occasional evening and working will be requited as part of the role.
- The ability to communicate effectively with individuals and with groups both in writing, verbally, and by face to face and virtual presentations.
