Reinstatement Operative

Following continued expansion we are recruiting for an experienced Reinstatement Operative to execute quality tarmacking, resurfacing and permanent reinstatement across the South East on behalf of our client Southern Gas Networks.

Working as part of a team, operations will be carried out on public highways, carriageways and private properties therefore knowledge of the current codes of practice, (New Roads and Street Works Act) & (Specification for Reinstatement of Openings in Highways) and customer service skills will be essential.

**Responsibilities**:

- Carry out reinstatement activities as directed by the Reinstatement Manager.
- Complete Site Specific Risk Assessments to a safe and acceptable standard.
- Drive and maintain company work vehicles, including 7.5tonne and above.
- Ensure appropriate use and storage of working equipment and materials.

**Qualifications**:

- NRSWA Operative (Essential)
- HGV Class 2 (preferred)

**Salary**: £140.00-£180.00 per day
