**Head of Apprenticeships Apprenticeship and Employability**:

Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in South Staffordshire.
**Role Purpose**
- The operational management and quality assurance of the end-to-end delivery of apprenticeships ensuring that robust quality assurance and improvement systems are in place at each stage of the employer and apprentice journey.
- Providing reports, analysis and recommendations to Director/ELT/Governors on all quality and compliance matters of our online systems.
- Working with cross college teams to ensure our delivery meets OFSTED, ESFA and internal quality requirements.
- Providing reports, analysis, and recommendations to management on all quality and compliance matters.
**Role Duties**
- Manage a team of apprenticeship delivery team to ensure that they are working effectively and efficiently and that apprentices are making the progress expected, utilising college reports and on-line database Smart Assessor
- Oversee and develop the apprenticeship curriculum by reviewing EMSI data sets and become familiar with local area plans to ensure the planned curriculum meets both employer needs, but also ensures the achievement of College income targets
- Ensure the smooth communication of cross college working to ensure delivery plans are in place for all apprenticeships in scope; timetables are in place for day release, and that MIS have the required start and completion paperwork for all assigned apprentices
- Work with Employers to ensure communication and a high level of professional service is delivered
- Ensure high quality teaching, learning and assessment across apprenticeship provision
- Work with the Director to ensure all targets for the apprenticeship provision both income and achievement are met
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 5 years management experience in apprenticeships
- Efficient and effective planning and deployment of resources
- Qualified to degree level
- GCSE English and Maths and Grade C (4) or above
- Ability to inspire others
- Ability to work in and manage a team
- Good time management
