**HR Consultant**

**£40,000 annual salary | Based in Edinburgh, London or Birmingham**

**Monday to Friday | 9:00am to 5:00pm | Hybrid working available**

**Initially a 6 month contract | likely to be extended to 12 months or made permanent**

Search Consultancy are currently working with a large and prestigious Financial Services organisation to recruit an experienced HR Consultant, initially on a 6 month fixed-term contract. This position is an outstanding opportunity to join a true market-leader in the sector, and will be well-suited to an expert in employment law. The primary purpose of this role will be the hands-on provision of HR support alongside a wider HR team.

**Duties involved in this role will include**:

- Supporting managers through the provision of technical advice and consultancy, so that they can effectively manage their employees at all stages of the employee life-cycle.
- Coaching managers who are faced with ambiguity, so that they can properly identify issues and risks.
- Proactively manage colleagues well-being.
- Confidently delivering education sessions on company processes to managers.
- Providing advice and guidance on matters of employment policy.
- Delivering and leading various HR projects as required.

**In order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include**:

- CIPD qualification or equivalent employment law qualification - this is essential.
- Proven prior experience in case management of all Employee Relations.
- Prior experience putting knowledge of employment law into practice within a commercial environment.
- Proven experience of Organisational design including redundancy and TUPE.
