An exciting opportunity has arisen to join The SEEDS Residential and Short Break Service as a Senior Residential Support Worker. This is a full-time, permanent position within a trauma-informed, therapeutic environment dedicated to supporting young people and their families.
**About The SEEDS**
We provide short stays, short breaks, outreach, and direct work sessions for young people aged 10-17 who are predominantly on the edge of care. Our service is built on a foundation of relationship-based practice, and we pride ourselves on delivering best-in-class support that makes a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

**The Role**
As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will play a pivotal role in leading and supporting a dynamic, diverse team. You’ll assist managers in delivering high-quality care and guidance, ensuring that our service continues to meet the highest standards.
You will be responsible for
- Lead shifts and oversee daily operations
- Act as a positive role model for staff and young people
- Support and supervise team members, including conducting staff supervisions
- Contribute to crisis intervention and provide hands-on support during challenging situations
- Balance management responsibilities with active participation in the wider team
- Maintain awareness of Children’s Homes Regulations and relevant legislation

**Requirements**:
- Significant experience in residential or youth support work
- Level 3 qualification in a relevant field
- Working towards or capable of attaining a Level 4 qualification
**Working Hours**
This role operates on a rota basis and includes evenings, weekends, sleep-in duties, nights, and bank holidays.
