**Radar Engineer (T92)**

**Location: RRH Buchan, Peterhead, AB42 0NX**

Serco have an exciting opportunity available pending bid award for a Radar Engineer to join our existing team based at RRH Buchan in Petershead. Our space and security division Radar Engineers provide 1st/ line Preventative maintenance on the T92 Radar Systemsand 1st/ 2nd line Corrective maintenance on the T92 Radar Systems.This role will also engage with the relevant internal and external organisations and key stakeholders in order to build and maintain Serco’s reputation.

**Key accountabilities**:

- Support the T92 Site Technical manger
- Deliver T92 Radar Systems Performance
- Ensure operational efficiency
- Provide out of hours call out to support radar availability when required
- Maintain and review radar technical manuals
- Maintain and manage all tools and test equipment required to support T92 system
- Support the Site Technical Manger to maximise the overall system availability
- Spares management of the Buchan /Benbecula inventory
- Provide a site support to Lockheed Martin when required

**What you’ll need to do the role**:

- Hold a recognised Electronics and electrical Qualification
- At least 2 years T92 radar experience
- Fully conversant with Serco governance policies and procedures
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with RAF personnel on the radar sites
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Proven track record in maintaining the T92 radar
- Understanding of RAF processes
- Proven track record of successful maintaining radar systems
- Proven practical and pragmatic understanding of service delivery
