Then keep reading, as at Teaching Personnel we are looking for individuals to work within a SEN Schools within the Windsor area starting ASAP

The role:
The job role would involve working as a Classroom Assistant supporting pupils with learning and behavioural difficulties on both a 1:1 and small group basis. Applicants with a knowledge and understanding of Child Psychology is desired as it will be verymuch applicable in this role.Applicants from other educational backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

You will be responsible for making sure the children are engaged and completing tasks to meet their daily learning objectives. Keeping a routine and ensuring there is great classroom management as well as engaging and encouraging positive achievements iskey to excelling in this role.

Pay rates will start at £10.77 ph and can increase to £13 ph based on experience and performance, future increases can be negotiated. You would be expected to work between the hours of 8.30am and 3.30pm.

The Students:The Students that attend the school will be diagnosed with Autism or co-existing conditions including ADHD, learning difficulties and Mental Health Difficulties.
- Background of Teaching Assistant, Sports, Care, Public Sector
- Have a Psychology or Criminology degree qualified/pending or equivalent.
- Have strong behaviour management skills.
- Have experience in SEN (personal or professional)
- Be open to training (MAPA) (Manual Handling)
- Have strong communication skills
- Have a passion for helping others
