Care Assistant

**Overview**
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve. This position is ideal for those who have a passion for helping others and possess the skills necessary to provide both physical and emotional support.
**Duties**
- Provide personal care services, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to promote mental well-being.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times.
- Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Provide specialised care for individuals requiring hospice care or those in assisted living environments.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records as required.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home care or childcare is preferred.
- Knowledge of first aid procedures is an advantage.
- Ability to provide patient care with empathy and respect for client dignity.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- A valid driver’s licence may be required depending on client needs.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
- Certification in relevant areas such as nursing or caregiving is beneficial but not mandatory.

Pay: £12.00-£13.00 per hour
