We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor located in the Rochdale area. This opportunity is within a well known global manufacturing company who are well established.

As the Warehouse Supervisor you are responsible for the daily execution of all the warehouse activities including order picking, shipping/receiving, inbound/outbound shipments, warehouse organisation, housekeeping and health and safety.

**Monday to Friday**:

- 8am to 5pm (Flexibility required to work to the needs of business)

**Salary** - £24,000 to £26,000 depending on experience

**Responsibilities of a Warehouse Supervisor**
- Day to day running of the warehouse whilst motivating and leading a small team of 6-8 members
- Delegating daily tasks to team members
- Managing goods in procedure and the inbound/outbound of shipments
- Ensure all orders are dispatched promptly
- Quality checking products prior to dispatch
- General warehouse duties, including picking and packing against orders
- Oversee warehouse equipment requirements and maintain records
- Operate an FLT Reach and Counterbalance
- Maintain a safe working environment and ensure all health and safety policies are followed
- Effectively communicate with all departments including Warehouse Manager

**Skills & experience of a Warehouse Supervisor**
- Warehouse Supervisor experience with a minimum of 5 years within a similar industry.
- Flexibility is required to work to the needs of the business
- FLT Reach - essential (Inhouse Certificates accepted)
- FLT Counterbalance - desirable
- Ability to manually lift upto 30kgs
