**Job Title: Production Operative - Part Time**

**Shift Pattern: 07:00 - 19:00 Tuesday to Thursday**

**Location: Palethorpes Bakery, Market Drayton, TF9 3AL**

**Salary: £13.77 per hour,**

Based at our Palethorpes Bakery, Shropshire we're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our savoury squad as Line Operators. If you've got a knack for fast-paced food production, a keen eye for detail, and a love for all things pastry, then you might just be the perfect filling for our team

As a Production Operative, you will play a pivotal role in our fast-paced food production environment, ensuring the seamless operation of our Hot-Pie production lines. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of efficiency, quality, and hygiene while adhering to strict safety protocols.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**As a Production Operative you will**
- Operate and maintain production line equipment efficiently to meet daily production targets.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure adherence to product specifications and regulatory standards.
- Work with raw meat and ingredients, following stringent hygiene practices to prevent contamination.
- Monitor critical control points (CCPs) to uphold food safety and quality standards.
- Lift and handle ingredients and finished products, weighing up to 25kg, with care and attention to safety.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any production issues promptly.

**Requirements**:

- Good written and spoken English skills to effectively communicate with team members and supervisors.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced factory environment, ideally within the food industry.
- Physical ability to lift and handle weights up to 25kg safely.
- Experience as Production Operative or knowledge of operating and maintaining production line equipment is advantageous.
- Knowledge of critical control points (CCPs) and food safety regulations is preferred.
