Cherubz Daycare is looking for a qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our team.

As a Nursery Practitioner you will be responsible for the education and development of babies and young children up to the age of 5. Your primary duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Providing a safe learning environment
- Helping children develop social and behavioural skills
- Engaging in age appropriate play and activities
- Keeping a record of children’s progress to share with parents
- Building and maintaining relationships with parents to better facilitate care of children
- Providing support to the rest of your team
- Considering cultural and medical needs of needs of each child
- Advising the nursery manager about any concerns relating to children, parents, or other members of staff
- Adhering to all policies and procedures set out by the nursery as well as any legislation relating to childcare
- Maintaining the business’ standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene
- Working alongside all staff to ensure the setting’s philosophy is fulfilled

Your personal qualities relating to the job should include:

- An ability to quickly build a rapport with young children and their families in a positive way
- A sense of responsibility
- A desire to develop your role within the team

Cherubz Daycare is a registered nursery setting providing childcare services for children aged 0-5 years. **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

**Salary**: £9.50-£10.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
