Activities Coordinator

**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Develop and implement a diverse range of activities tailored to the interests and needs of residents.
- Coordinate and oversee daily activities, ensuring that all residents are encouraged to participate.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to assess residents' physical and cognitive abilities, adapting activities accordingly.
- Foster a warm and inclusive environment that promotes social interaction among residents.
- Maintain accurate records of participation and feedback on activities for continuous improvement.
- Organise special events, outings, and themed days to enhance community engagement.
- Communicate regularly with families regarding their loved ones' involvement in activities.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in senior care, nursing homes, or assisted living environments is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with residents of varying abilities.
- Knowledge of dementia care practices is an strong advantage.
- A compassionate approach to care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards residents' needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Flexibility to adapt activities based on resident feedback and changing needs.
- Ability to work flexibly in line with the needs of the home, including evenings and weekends as required by the activity schedule.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.00 per hour
